Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellation Details
I will honor requests to cancel orders within 24 hours of their purchase, but I will not cancel orders past 24 hours of placement for any reason. This is my standard policy, and I cannot make exceptions for cases of:
1. Failing to tell me that you needed an item by a specific date BEFORE purchasing it
2. Not reading my information on processing times, which can be found in each item description, the checkout page, and the shop policies section.
If you're unhappy with your item once it is received, please let me know immediately so I can try to resolve any issue that was a mistake on my part. Due to the nature of these specially handmade items, I do not accept returns or offer refunds on customized items except in the extremely rare case of damage during shipping.
Buyer must pay return shipping if a return is requested. If you do not contact me within three days of delivery, I will not issue refunds, grant returns, or mail replacements.
All items are handmade, and therefore some small imperfections/inconsistencies (that fall within a normal range for a handmade item) may occur. Examples of these may include very small bubbles, slight variances of color from what appears on screen, or other small marks that in no way affect the functionality or overall aesthetic appeal of an item. Returns will not be accepted on the basis of small imperfections such as these.
Much unhappiness can be avoided by reading the description of each item VERY CAREFULLY before purchasing, so that you aren't expecting something different than the product that is offered! Polymer clay is a unique material that can easily be visually confused for ceramic, but feels absolutely nothing like it in person.
I cannot replace items if they break or are otherwise damaged while in your possession, or with regular use. I am not liable or responsible for replacing lost earrings that fall off and get lost during use. If you lose an earring, please contact me for the option to purchase one single earring to match the lost one.
Many styles of earrings may be fragile and delicate, and must be handled with care- which means that if you intentionally bend the parts, scratch the surface, or pull roughly on the components attached with jump rings, they will likely break. I will not replace items that have been damaged due to rough handling after they’re safely delivered to you.
I am not liable for the amount of time the post office takes to scan in an item once I drop it off, or if a package is lost by USPS, and I will not give refunds on this basis. Once an item leaves my hands, I am not responsible for issues that may be caused by USPS, including delayed delivery, lost items, stolen items, etc. Please see the "shipping policies" section for further information.
Items have a 7-10 business day processing time since they are made to order. This does NOT include shipping time, which is an additional 2-5 days. During checkout you will have the option to choose USPS first class shipping (2-5 days), priority shipping (1-3 days), or priority express overnight. Orders over $50 ship for free (using first class or ground shipping).
You MUST let me know an exact date when you expect to receive an item by if you are planning on giving it as a gift, so I can guarantee it will arrive on time. If I do not hear from you regarding a specific date, I can't guarantee that anything will arrive by a specific date (if you choose the first class or priority shipping options).
Since all of my items are 100% made by hand in small batches, I prefer not to rush the process. Things occasionally get backed up, especially around holidays. When I ship an item, you will always receive an email you to let you know, which includes the tracking number so that the package can be tracked on its way to you.
